The University Library is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and self-motivated Academic Liaison Librarian.  This varied role supports the Academic Liaison Team and focuses on both the Faculty of Science & Technology and Faculty of Management.  It provides teaching; student support; collection management; and provides support for research data management. The role may also contribute to the delivery of a number of team objectives which may include: enquiry services, online guidance, research support and peer learning schemes.

As a qualified librarian, you will utilise your excellent people skills to work collaboratively with faculty, professional services and Library & Learning Support colleagues.  Your knowledge of higher education and experience of skills teaching will enable you to support the development and delivery of sessions as part of our established Study Skills programme.  Your interest in research data management and commitment to open access will enable you to contribute to the institutional repository teams.

This post presents an exciting opportunity to join BU’s innovative Academic Liaison Team within Library & Learning Support. This integrated team is responsible for the delivery of high quality support to staff and students.
