Academic Liaison Librarian (Schools of Business, Psychology and Sport)

University of Worcester

£26,715 to £32,816 per annum

Full time, Permanent

 

We are looking for a confident, adaptable and customer-focused individual, dedicated to helping students succeed academically. You will be a strong library and information management advocate encouraging staff and students to engage with and use the full range of library services, including helping them to research and make effective use of a diverse set of information sources, tools and technologies. You will work closely with academic colleagues to embed teaching into curricula and develop Resource Lists that support and complement teaching. Academic Liaison Librarians are grouped into clusters supporting schools and you will work closely with 1 other liaison librarian to support the Schools of Business, Psychology and Sport.

The service operates out of The Hive, a ground-breaking and multi-award-winning initiative run in partnership with Worcestershire County Council which is central to the University strategic objectives for access and inclusion. The Hive is a fully integrated academic and public library, providing services to all members of the University and community.
