We are looking for a candidate dedicated to helping students develop the academic skills and confidence they need to succeed at university. This role will suit individuals who are able to adapt their teaching to meet the differing needs of student cohorts and delivery styles (face to face vs online). You will be a strong library and information management advocate encouraging staff and students to engage with and use the full range of library services, including helping them to research and make effective use of a diverse set of information sources, tools and technologies. You will also work closely with academic colleagues to embed library teaching into curricula and develop Resource Lists that support and complement teaching.
Academic Liaison Librarians are grouped into clusters supporting schools and you will work closely with 1.5 other liaison librarians to support the Schools of Allied Health, Nursing & Midwifery, and Science & the Environment, as well the development of the new Three Counties School of Medicine.

Library Services operates out of The Hive, a ground-breaking, fully integrated academic and public library, run in partnership with Worcestershire County Council, which provides services to all members of the University and community.
