Our Libraries and Learning Skills department provides key academic support in the University, delivering flexible, responsive services to students and staff which underpin teaching, learning and research.

We have an exciting opportunity to join the Academic and Research Services team, supporting the Lincoln International Business School (LIBS). As an Academic Subject Librarian, you will provide specialist library support for students, academics and researchers in LIBS. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the Library’s learning and skills development programmes, as well as collaborate with other subject librarians and colleagues across the university.

Our successful candidate will be educated to degree level with a library / information management qualification or significant experience at equivalence to professional level. You will have experience supporting learning and will be experienced in leading teaching and/or training sessions. We are looking for someone with excellent communication and customer service skills and high IT literacy, and our ideal candidate would have recent experience of supporting the information requirements of a specific curriculum area in a higher education environment.
