Assessment Coordinator

CILIP, Bloomsbury, Central London

£20,785 pro rata

Part time 28 hours per week – 12 months fixed term (possible extension)

Working from office in Central London or from home.


We are looking for an Assessment Coordinator to support the delivery of the CILIP’s assessment services. This is new role in the CILIP team and a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to make a real impact on our assessment and accreditations processes.

This varied role involves working with the Assessment Manager and Workforce Development Manager to support the end-to-end delivery of CILIP assessment services: Apprenticeships, Professional Registration and accreditation. You will be experienced in providing the full range of administration support, be confident using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and be comfortable learning other software systems such CRMs, learner management systems and finance packages.

If you have the right transferable skills, aptitude and enthusiasm to learn rapidly and be able to meet deadlines then this a perfect opportunity for somebody who is looking to take the next step in their career.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Be highly organised and able to plan, prioritise and deliver to a work programme
  • Have excellent attention to detail
  • Be reliable and proactive in managing stakeholders and processes and adhering to assessment policies
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality and an understanding of how and when to escalate enquiries
