CILIP is the UK library and information association. We are the only chartered body in the world dedicated to uniting, supporting and advocating for information professionals and librarians – the people who help the world make better decisions.
CILIP is establishing a new apprenticeship assessment organisation called CILIP Assess. CILIP Assess has been set up to allow CILIP to be the end point assessment of the Level 3 Library Information and Archive Services (LIAS) Assistant Apprenticeship Standard.
The role of Assessment Manager will be to support the development and growth of assessment services provided by CILIP Assess. In particular, the Assessment Manager will develop and manage the assessment resources, manage the assessment timelines for all apprenticeship candidates, liaise between candidates, their employers, training providers and independent assessors, and provide support to the CILIP Assess Board.
The candidate must be able to work collaboratively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, be extremely organised and be able to set and manage tight deadlines.
