Job Description

Post Introduction

This is an excellent opportunity to gain unique experience with our team at Lambeth Palace Library and the Church of England Record Centre.

These are exciting times for us, as we prepare to move into a new library building, and as a cataloguer (Modern Collections), you will be assisting with cataloguing and classifying a range of modern printed material from the Library’s collections and assisting with making them accessible to the public.

To be successful, you will need great communication skills and the ability to work positively as part of our team and build excellent relationships with colleagues and customers. You will also need proven IT and organisational skills, experience of working in a library or similar environment and a qualification in library and information studies or equivalent experience.

This post is offered on a 12 month fixed term contract.

Interviews will be held on the 25th/26th July 2019
