Emmanuel College’s Library is a key academic resource for the college’s undergraduates and is also well used by post-graduates, Fellows, and staff. The library has significant special collections that attract visiting researchers from across the world. This exciting opportunity is now available to suitable candidates and will lead the provision of high-quality library services, promote their use, and create a friendly, welcoming, and helpful atmosphere. This is a central, visible, and exciting role that requires interacting with all parts of the college community, from students to academics and staff. This is a full-time position for 36 hours 40 minutes per week, Monday to Friday, although the demands of the post may involve working outside of and in addition to these hours.

The successful candidate will have substantial relevant experience at a senior level in an academic library, together with relevant postgraduate and professional qualifications.

Salary range £42,808-£46,517 per annum depending on experience and qualifications.
