Would you like to develop your skills and sector knowledge by serving as CILIP Midlands next Communications Coordinator?
Purpose of the Role: To support the Chair and committee by managing essential communication functions such as the bi monthly newsletter as well as working with our social media leads.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Chair in sharing information with committee members.
- Organise, take, and circulate minutes of committee and general meetings (including AGM). Meetings are usually online.
- Maintain committee records, such as member details and update CILIP HQ of any changes.
- Advise the committee on CILIP regulations, guidance, and governance matters, with support from the Chair and CILIP HQ.
- Support other officers with occasional reports on feedback and usage statistics linked to communication channels
- Opportunity to help organise events, projects, and marketing activities.
- Promote CILIP Midlands and CILIP membership benefits within the profession.
Time Commitment: Flexible hours, typically up to 12 per year for emails and 4 network and training group meetings per year (usually online).
