Join the Chartered Institute for Library and Information Professionals (CILIP) as the Community Development Manager (England). This role is crucial in supporting our mission by enabling our professional peer communities to bring people together to create positive experiences including CPD, peer networking and knowledge-sharing opportunities.

This position, within the Community and Partnerships Team, reports to the Community and Partnerships Manager.
The successful candidate will:
- Possess excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Have experience of, or transferable skills, to lead or oversee peer communities and partnerships.
- Be able to work effectively under their own initiative and as part of a team.
- Have strong customer, stakeholder and relationship management skills.
- Be interested in the strategic development of the library, information and knowledge sector.
It is not essential for the candidate to possess prior knowledge of the sector but they will have the right level of ability and enthusiasm to learn rapidly and use their transferable skills to support project delivery as well as day-to-day support of our Communities.
