This post is full time, 35 hours per week and is fixed term for the period of a maternity cover. The maternity cover period is expected to start May 2021 till February 2022.
This is an exciting new role for the Library and Archives Services, offering an opportunity for the right candidate to establish this role. This role focuses on supporting the Head of Library and Archives Service in ensuring that operational planning priorities and the wider strategy are delivered. Priorities for this year will be to establish Key Performance Indicators, introduce a service-wide approach to project delivery and review the staff development programme.
We are looking for an excellent communicator with the ability to build relationships, influence and negotiate at all levels. The successful applicant will be comfortable working with data to evaluate the impact of services and drive continual improvement. They will enjoy engaging with a diverse customer base and value evolving alongside our service partners and as part of a senior management team. They will be keen to work in a changing environment, with opportunities to learn and develop.
