Starting salary from £30,046 - £34,804 per annum with further progression opportunities to £38,017

The University Library is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, self-motivated Faculty Librarian to lead support for the Faculty of Media & Communication and the development of services and support for research data management. 

As a qualified and experienced librarian, you will utilise your excellent people skills to manage relationships and work collaboratively with the Faculty, professional services and Library & Learning Support colleagues. You will be adaptable, taking a proactive approach to ensure that you are working effectively and will be able to prioritise your work to ensure deadlines are met.  Your knowledge of Higher Education (HE), with a focus on learning and innovation will enable you to develop excellent resources and support teaching and research within the Faculty. You will lead a small team of Academic Support Librarians in delivering effective information literacy teaching, as well as contributing to Library and Learning Support’s study skills programme.

This post presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced librarian to join the Academic Liaison Team within Library & Learning Support. This integrated team is responsible for the delivery of high quality support to staff and students.
