We are looking for an innovative Information Librarian (Research Publications) to join our Open Access team in the University of Bath Library.
About the role:
You would be integral to making the University’s journal articles, books, and eTheses openly accessible via our institutional repository. Your knowledge of research publications would allow you to support our academics and authors in an evolving scholarly communications landscape.
This role is offered on a full time (36.5 hours per week) permanent basis.
About you:
You will:
- Have practical experience checking bibliographic metadata records.
- Be able to create and analyse reports.
- Communicate confidently to answer enquiries from a range of service users across a variety of formats.
- Be proactive with excellent organisational skills and an ability to prioritise workloads.
About the department:
We are a small research publications team that works closely with our colleagues in the Library, academic departments, and wider University. We provide guidance, training, and individual researcher support to enable research outputs to be optimally exposed, managed and curated. As part of this team you will contribute to practical work around open access, systems testing, financial payments, reporting, and policy compliance activities.
