Join our small customer-focussed team delivering Library services to students and academic staff.
This is an exciting new role created as part of a re-organisation of Professional Services within the University. The RAU Library operates as part of a converged service with IT and this role is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the development of Library services for a post-covid world working as part of our friendly and professional team.
The successful candidate will have experience of putting customers at the heart of library service delivery, including supporting day-to-day library operations and completing tasks to a high standard. You will have great communication skills, and be able to build excellent relationships with students, academic staff and professional services colleagues.
The ability to work independently, show initiative and be flexible will also be essential as this role involves lone working (supported by CCTV and on-campus security).
Previous experience of developing and/or delivering a programme of information skills for higher education students will be an advantage.
The hours are Mon-Fri 9am-5pm, with the possibility of one late night per week during term time when the post holder would work 1pm to 8pm.
