Learning Resources Assistant (Staff Development) - REQ6307

Salary: £28,752 - £31,694 per annum, includes London weighting.
We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic individual to join LLR’s Customer Services team.
As part of the team you will provide customer focussed library and information services to students and staff, based at the University’s main library on our Southwark Campus.
You will contribute to frontline customer enquiry services (both physical and virtual) supporting customers with a wide range of Library and student IT support related enquiries.
You will also contribute significantly to the LLR staff development team within customer services including:
- Assisting with design and delivery of internal staff development sessions;
- carrying out new staff inductions and training;
- carrying out activities to increase employee engagement;
- contributing to training and development activities across the department.
You will have strong customer service, teamwork, presentation and communication skills, and experience of work where attention to detail is important. You will have strong IT literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office. Applicants will need to be able to contribute to physical tasks such as shelving and moving equipment.
Working week will be 35 hours per week, days and hours to be agreed but will include regular contribution to evening and weekend duties.
