Full time, 37 hours per week • Permanent

The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Library Advocacy Officer to continue the significant contributions the role makes to the provision and promotion of public library services.

You will contribute to the development of the Library Communication and Engagement Plan and work closely with library digital officers, library supervisors and external partners to delivery of a wide range of physical and online library resources and services that support RBWM residents while promoting the benefits of the public library.

You will deliver a programme of activity based on the four national universal offers and training for library staff, as well as being responsible for areas of collection development and maintenance.

The successful applicant will have significant experience in a similar environment and ideally possess a professional qualification in Library and Information Studies.

The role requires travel to all library locations within the Borough as necessary.
