Local Studies Librarian
£12,526 – £14,263 pa, actual salary

The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Local Studies Librarian to continue the significant contributions the role makes to the provision and promotion of local, community and specialist information services and resources, both digital and physical.
You will work closely with library digital officers, advocacy officers, supervisors and external partners to ensure the range of physical and online library resources and services that support RBWM residents are made accessible to all.
You will deliver a programme of activity based on the four national universal offers and training for library staff, as well as being responsible for areas of collection development and maintenance.
The successful applicant will have significant experience in a similar environment and possess a professional qualification in Library and Information Studies.
The role requires travel to all library locations within the Borough as necessary.
