Modern Records Manager
New College Library and Archives, University of Oxford is seeking an innovative records manager with excellent IT skills and the ability to work flexibly and proactively. Building on your existing experience of born-digital and modern records management, this role, which is a new one, provides an exciting opportunity to set up, spearhead and develop the management and use of modern and digital records within a stimulating, academic environment.
Applicants should have a good undergraduate degree along with an ARA-accredited postgraduate qualification in records management, recent experience of records management, including significant experience of working with digital records, familiarity with current records management procedures and standards, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Hours of work are 2½ days per week (including Fridays), and the salary will be equivalent to University Grade 6, £28,660 - £34,189, pro rata; benefits include contributory pension scheme (USS) and free lunches.
