Professional Registration Assessors - Welsh speaking

 

In light of increasing demand for achieving Professional Registration, opportunities have arisen to join our Professional Registration Assessor team. You will need to be a fluent Welsh speaker in order to assess our submissions in Welsh.

Being an Assessor for Professional Registration is an important part of supporting CILIP to maintain robust standards ensuring the Library and Information workforce is developing, maintaining professionalism and thriving. Being an Assessor is a great way to contribute to and help develop the future of the profession. It will also contribute to your own CPD by developing leadership and coaching skills, enhancing professional understanding and widening your network.

As an Assessor you will: 

  • Work with another Assessor to examine evidence-based portfolios and CPD logs to verify whether the candidate meets the required standards for Professional Registration 
  • Join a team of Assessors to develop your own skills in assessment
  • Work closely with a network of peers contributing to the maintenance and development of standards within the profession
  • Easily illustrate your own continuing commitment to the development of the profession
