Job Description

CILIP is currently looking to grow the Professional Registration Support Officer (PRSO) team

Each member network across the country, including the devolved nations, has on its committee a PRSO. Their role is to support professional registration candidates throughout their journey to achieving the relevant qualification, either Certification, Chartership or Fellowship.  

The majority of the role involves answering queries sent in to either e-mail or questions raised in the relevant group on the CILIP website. This is distinct from the role of mentors who help candidates develop themselves. This part of the role is carried out by rota.

PRSOs also deliver online training sessions around the professional registration process e.g. “getting started with professional registration”, “reflective writing”, “shut up and write sessions” and revalidation.  These training sessions have already been created and are delivered by a team of 2-3 PRSOs per session 

There is also a community of practise for PRSOs that meet virtually once every other month.
