Rare Books Cataloguer (Fixed Term – 18 months)
£17.20 per hour
(21 hrs per week)
Pembroke College is offering 21 hours a week for a suitably qualified rare books cataloguer who will create catalogue records for the Library’s collection of early printed books.
Days and hours of work are negotiable, but will need to fit in with Library hours (normally Monday-Friday, 9 am – 5pm). Payment will be £17.20 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. This post is to start as soon as possible and is fixed term for 18 months.
The appointee will be required to create high-quality online catalogue records for printed books in the College’s special collections to DCRM(B) and other appropriate standards. Further duties are outlined in the particulars provided on the College website.
Applicants must have a CILIP-accredited degree in Librarianship (or equivalent qualification/experience), have excellent IT skills, and have experience of cataloguing special collections.
