Job Description

Passionate about children's books and getting children reading?
Become a Carnegie and Kate Greenaway Awards judge
East Midlands, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales are each seeking to appoint a judge to represent their branch on the CILIP Carnegie and Kate Greenaway Awards judging panel (2020 and 2021).
Experience of working with children and children’s books is key - as is the capacity to participate fully in judging and wider award processes. Candidates must hold current CILIP membership and be prepared to join CILIP’s Youth Libraries Group (YLG) if not already a member.
CILIP is committed to championing diversity, inclusion and representation within the awards. We particularly welcome applications from BAME, disabled, LGBTQ and male candidates, who have historically been under-represented on the judging panel.
