We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, self-motivated and skilled librarian or research professional to provide operational leadership, expert advice and guidance on open-research practices. This important role manages and delivers a service for researchers to enable deposit of research outputs in the Bournemouth University’s open research outputs repository and enhance the visibility of their research. The role also contributes to delivery of other library objectives and institutional priorities, including our exciting new BU2035 strategy.
Your adaptability and thoroughness, combined with a proactive approach will be core to the role, enabling you to prioritise your work effectively and meet deadlines. Your customer focus, digital confidence, commitment to innovation, and knowledge of research in higher education will help you to develop excellent resources, and support research at BU. You will contribute to the delivery of Library teaching teaching, including postgraduate students. You will work with colleagues in a matrix way to meet service requirements.
