Job Overview:
We have an opening for an Administrator/ Scientific Writing Assistant to support the Consultancy Team at Certara’s Simcyp Division. Certara are seeking an individual with good writing and organisational skills to be part of The Consultancy Team that is responsible for collating information, developing models and translating the science into a report. Additional scientific reports and data files are generated during the course of each project, which require organisation. The successful candidate should be educated to at least A-level standard. Applicants must be well organised, demonstrate a keen attention to detail, possess individual motivation, and have demonstrable competency in IT (particularly Microsoft applications). They should also possess a flexible attitude and a desire to learn new skills. The successful candidate will work closely with the Consultancy Team. The candidate must also be eligible to work in the UK.

Principal Duties:

  • Providing day-to-day support for the Consultancy Team
  • QA reviewer for all the Consultancy reports
  • Copy editing of Consultancy reports
  • Collation of all related files for each Consultancy project

Requirements:

Essential

  • Educated to A-level standard
  • Experience of providing a high standard of customer service
  • Evidence of individual motivation
  • Attention to detail
  • Organisational skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft applications
  • Familiarity with conducting advanced internet searches
  • Evidence of ability to learn new skills
  • Experience in scientific, library, or information management related work

Desirable

  • Experience in a role demanding attention to detail (e.g. copy editing and proof-reading)
  • Familiarity with specific scientific search engines and databases
  • Experience with referencing software (e.g. EndNote)
