ARLG Midlands needs you! The term of the current secretary for Academic & Research Libraries Group’s regional Midlands subcommittee is coming to an end, and the committee needs a new chair from May 2023. Our committee aims to support and deliver events that support HE and FE institutions in the Midlands.
The Secretary is one of the officer riles for the ARLG Midlands regional subcommittee along with the Chair and Treasurer.
You will need to be a CILIP member to hold this officer role, but do not need to be a current member of ARLG, and need to work in a HE or FE institution in the Midlands. This is a volunteer role and meetings typically take place online but expenses are reimbursed for any face to face meeting that do take place. We particularly welcome applications from those working at institutions currently not represented on the committee.
